Helping you leverage nutrition to maximise your results, performance, and health.

1-on-1 Services

Expert Guidance, Tailored to You

Every plan below is delivered by a Registered Dietitian — a regulated health professional, which is why your extended health benefits cover us. You'll work with the same Dietitian throughout, and they'll adjust the plan as your schedule, training, and life change.

All plans begin with an Initial Consultation — 45 to 60 minutes, $250. Follow-up sessions are 25 to 30 minutes, $125 each.

You can choose your plan before the Initial Consultation or decide after. Final recommendations are always made once we understand your situation.

Clear Plan. Expert Guidance.

Structured support without a long-term commitment. What you're choosing here isn't a price — it's a structure: how often you're seen, and for how long. Because each session is billed individually to your insurer, every appointment costs the same whether you book three or twenty.

Direct billing available — Canada Life, Alberta Blue Cross, Blue Cross Medavie, SunLife, Manulife, Desjardins and more.

What People Say

Coaches & Companies We've Worked With

I've had many of my clients see Mike, and he's helped out with some of my squash camps. The presentations, information, and handouts have been very effective in helping these athletes understand how to optimise their nutrition for performance.

Ibrahim ElserafayOwner & Head Coach, Alberta Squash Academy

Mike's been a key part of my coaching team for over a year, helping my hockey athletes reach their maximum potential. Clear, practical messages that resonated with our athletes and made complex concepts easy to adopt.

I had Mike come and do a corporate presentation to my staff. The talk was informative and practical, and each team member told me they took away a lot of helpful information.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How does payment work if I have benefit coverage?

For insurers we can direct bill (Alberta Blue Cross, Canada Life, SunLife), you only pay the difference between the service cost and what your benefits cover — if there's any remaining balance at all.

For insurers that require you to submit yourself (Manulife and others), you pay the full cost upfront and we provide a receipt for you to submit. Some providers require individual appointment receipts, which we'll provide as services are delivered.

Do you offer refunds?

Because our time and services are reserved specifically for you, we do not offer refunds once a service has begun. However, we're committed to your success and will work with you to make adjustments if something isn't working.

What if I need to reschedule a session?

Life happens. We ask for 24 hours' notice to reschedule without penalty. Missed sessions without notice may be forfeited depending on the situation. Late cancellations are charged 50% of the session rate.

Which provinces do you serve?

We're based in Alberta and offer in-person services at Tailor Made Wellness (Sherwood Park) and Local Wellness (Athabasca). Virtually, we serve Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland & Labrador, Yukon, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut. We are not currently licensed in British Columbia or Ontario and cannot take clients residing in those provinces.

What happens when my benefit coverage runs out for the year?

This is common — most plans cover two to four sessions a year. Tell us at your first appointment roughly what you have available and we'll build the plan around it, so the sessions land where they'll do the most good rather than stopping abruptly halfway through.

If you want to keep going after coverage is exhausted, we'll talk through the options — including spacing sessions further apart, putting a health spending account toward them, or working from the self-paced courses until your benefits reset in January.

Can I switch plans partway through?

Yes. If the structure you picked isn't fitting your life, tell your Dietitian and we'll adjust. Sessions already delivered are charged at the standard rate and the remainder is restructured — you're never locked into something that stopped working.

Do I need a doctor's referral?

No. Registered Dietitians are directly accessible in Canada — you can book without a referral. Some insurers ask for one before they'll reimburse, so it's worth a quick check of your policy before your first appointment.
